Throughout my time in Bidfood UK, I worked in different finance teams and office locations and gained practical experience in performing finance tasks. The tasks I performed included but were not limited to: actualizing sales figures to date and projecting the remainder of the year; providing monthly reporting such as rebates files, internal/external item movements, growth trackers, drop discount files, stock loss, split reports etc.; reviewing distribution savings achieved from product repackaging and internal depot switches; performing margin analysis across multiple customer sectors to locate products with negative impact; building calculators to maintain or increase margin on product switches; proposing new physical items calculation and margin per item changes; analyzing period end Operating Statements (P&L) to identify large variances to budget; using internal BI Sales data cube & Impromptu to extract different levels of data; assisting in archive process of invoices. In addition, I successfully self-taught and created Macros to reduce time spent on regular/manual reporting, attended Annual Finance Conference and other staff meetings and adapted to fast changing environment: office location and staff changes, use of a company laptop to work from home when required.
