We specialize in standards-based software engineering solutions for organizations where real world experiences with healthcare standards, clinical workflow, decision support, and/or legacy system integration are needed for success. The Company has the following socio-economic set-aside designations: Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Small Business in all NAICS codes. Our general business model is to use DoD/VA/HHS professional services contracts (custom software development and services) to fund the company's software products development. Today we have a broad platform in an area of healthcare IT called Clinical Decision Support (CDS). One of the most promising strategies available for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of health care is CDS, which entails providing clinicians, staff, patients or other individuals with knowledge and person-specific information, intelligently filtered or presented at appropriate times, to enhance health and health care. Our platform for CDS is called the Clinical Optimization and Reasoning Architecture (CORA). We are starting to build commercial products on top of CORA and, ultimately, that will be our primary market. We will sell these products to payors, provider networks, hospitals, clinics, accountable care organizations and clinical quality consortia. Show less
