Serve as a chemical engineer, responsible for assisting in the design & development of laboratory, chamber & field equipment & devices; conducting theoretical & experimental investigations; performing reduction & analysis of both current & historical laboratory data; participating in development & analysis of engineering models to determine the nature & characteristics of the physical mechanisms & processes controlling the operational & toxicological behavior of biological & chemical agents & simulants; applying such models to formulate a hazard assessment of potential (accidental or deliberate) releases of biological & chemical agents to nearby military personnel & civilian populations; & serving as in-house technical consultant on matters pertaining to the above areas.
