Doug and I have worked together for 4 years and he is hands down the most customer centric Sales Professional I've ever worked with. We frequently went on customer visits together and Doug can, has and will win over every customer he's put in front of. He has the ability to adapt to each client uniquely and makes them feel like they're the only customer he has. Companies have threatened to leave if Doug was taken off their account. Doug was never afraid to challenge me as a sales rep. Often times, I'd get stuck behind my computer and Doug would tell me to get off my email and call the customer. He knew when to challenge me, when to support me, when to break me down and when to build me up. One specific time, I made a huge error and got our customer the wrong product. He spent time outside of hours fixing the problem I created because I couldn't do it myself. The last thing I want to say about Doug is what a kind hearted man he is. There was never a time when he wouldn't check on me if I had something going wrong personally.
