Doug and I go way back to the early 60's..you know the era....early rock and roll...vietnam war...assinations.....basically the world was changing in a very large and real way. Doug and I were students together at a little Higfh School in Minnesota..called...Welcome High School...Original hun???Welcome to W4elcome...well it worked for us and we are still here tofday because of that. As I remem ber Doug...a kind person..enjoyable to be around..toolk charge....was never bossy or ill tempered...pretty much just a ordinary guy....Smart and a go getter....I just knew that Doug would go far in whatever path he chose for his life. Both acdemically and musically speaking..Doug excelled in both...He was the brain-child of a unique little musical group..called the Livin'Folk..which I was a part of and have managed to keep close all those warm memories over many years....A very fun time...and lot of good performance of the good ole folk classics...you know the songs that came from Pete Seagar..Peter. Paul and Mary...You had to have been there..if you are not at least 50...you probably will not know what the heck I am talking about.... Go get em Doug...I know..you don't have to tell mre...you'll never retire...just like me...I think we would both be too bored to do such a dum thing..........................Carry on...go forward and God's blessings.
