Bio
Kaleigh Kendrick
Doug and I were both hired during a restructuring of the College of Computing and Software Engineering's first year courses. In the more than three years we've worked together I have been impressed with Doug's ability to handle change, juggle an increasing number of responsibilities, and determination to make our courses the best possible experience for the more than 1000 students we serve each semester. Beyond his technical expertise and ability to embrace change, I have enjoyed working with Doug because he's exactly the kind of colleague everyone hopes to have. Doug is thoughtful, helpful, and willing to pitch in without complaint when a teammate or student needs help. When my father died unexpectedly in June, Doug seamlessly handled many of my responsibilities and his own without being asked so that my return to the office didn't involve a backlog of work during a sensitive and difficult time. Above all, Doug is a kind and genuine person who is a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Doug at Georgia Highlands College in the Client Technology Support area. Doug is a detail oriented individual who goes above and beyond to assist faculty and staff. He is a valuable coworker who would be an asset to any team.
