      -> MIgrated the Streamline HMIS software from vanilla PHP to the Laravel framework. This involved rebuilding the project from the ground up by improving the database structure, using TDD principles and improving security by managing user sessions and input -> Set up and managed server instances for the Streamline HMIS software on the LAMP stack. Currently this setup manages 32 instances of the software using the same codebase -> Developed a triage application in collaboration with CICH Canada using Scheme and the LambdaNative mobile application framework -> Developed a paediatric patient flow management system in partnership with the University of British Columbia using the Laravel framework and deployed it to 4 hospitals including Holy Innocents Mbarara -> Developed a python application to retrieve results from Laboratory machines and chemistry analyzers, interpret the HL7 messages and transmit them to the Streamline HMIS software -> Was responsible for managing the product backlog, scheduling assignments for the software team and ensuring the technical and user documentation is up to date -> Integrated Smart Triage and Smart Discharge algorithms into the Streamline HMIS software to guide the clinicians in decision-making by running patient vitals through a mathematical model and generating a risk score Show less
