  Founded in 1995 by Doug Woods, US Medical Systems (USMS) is a sales and service organization servicing the healthcare markets in the U.S. and Canada. June 1st, 2014 USMS announced the opening of a new sales and service center located in Houston, Texas (USMS WEST). Doug Woods states "Our efforts are to establish strategic locations to increase our coverage footprint and provide quality service in growing markets". May 1, 2019 USMS WEST was awarded a sole source contract with Memorial Hermann Healthcare System (12 Hospitals) the largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas. September 2013 USMS signed an agreement with Philips Medical as a depot repair facility which allows all Philips Medical managed healthcare providers nationwide to use USMS services.In that same month USMS signed an authorized Samsung Electronics agreement that allows warranty work and routine services to be preform by USMS. USMS has contracts with hospital systems, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO's), Independent Distribution Systems (IDS), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's).
