Doug and I have worked together on a weekly basis at Union Bank since June 2018. We started at Union Bank at about the same time. He and I inherited a commercial credit analysis process that needed to be streamlined. Together, we implemented changes to the process that improved turnaround time. Without Doug's long banking experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to adopt common sense changes, it could have never happened. I've been on customer visits with Doug and he sure knows his customers. He has an empathetic, infectious personality that leads his clients to know he cares about them. If you're in the Person/Durham County area and need a commercial loan, give Doug a call. He's in the Roxboro office.
