Doug Wall can best be described as an innovative manager. I have worked with him for 8 years. In this time, I have seen him grow with Schwan’s through several new corporate strategies and realignments, making him a very adaptable manager. One of his greatest contributions to the company was his ability to promote and capitalize on the programs the company provided and execute these programs into his team’s day to day operations. For example, one of the company’s strategies for increased sales volume was the use of fundraising. Mr. Wall worked diligently and assertively with his direct reports to build a fundraising network within the local community. This required heavy organizational, strategic planning, and customer-centric skills. Within a year, Mr. Wall led the company in fundraising efforts and results, thus exceeding his team’s assigned sales plan. His experience with this program made him a Subject Matter Expert and he was asked to promote his experience to other managers within the company on numerous occasions.
