I, in partnership with my father, founded and scaled Illini Precast from ground zero to $100M in annual revenue. I owned all operations including plant operations, accounting, human resources, project management, engineering, quality control, risk, estimating and sales while scaling the team to 400 total employees. I leveraged my legal background to serve as general counsel, overseeing all compliance and governance, contract negotiation and management, and review and approval of all policies and procedures, regulations, bylaws, and other legal documents. ✓ Founded and guided evolution of all functional business areas to balance quality and growth, ensuring introduction of skills and positions to support increased volume, project demands, and compliance initiatives. ✓ Drove down costs 40% by building up in-house engineering function – reducing outsourced program – to standardize processes, improve sales support, and propel speed to revenue realization. ✓ Steered end-to-end legal actions for the buyout of two ownership partners to transform business into 100% family ownership and allow for increased agility in forward planning. ✓ Owned operations and legal processes to drive opening of 4 manufacturing facilities – 2 leases and 2 land acquisitions including gray field site – and the corporate office. ✓ Created all contracting forms to streamline processes and authored complete scope of white papers, sales, and project management presentations to properly educate customers and level-set expectations.✓ Navigated earning of PCI certification for all manufacturing sites to open pathways for increased revenue. ✓ Instilled a culture of safety that successfully navigated 3 OSHA investigations with near zero in fines and lowered worker’s compensation costs 10%.

Inside this nationwide law firm, I earned a rapid promotion from summer associate to support the construction law group.
