Developed a case management system with upgradability that enabled investigators and attorneys to centralize their case work. Designed, Developed, and actively manage a complaint management system to enable employees to track complaints as well as assign tasks to investigators and attorneys. Wrote specialized functions in Access VBA to assist in data processing and analysis. Utilizing a thorough knowledge of SQL, coordinated with the Ohio Attorney General Infrastructure IT group to develop a standardized method to examine complaints with large scale Access databases for analysis and reporting. Designed, developed and implemented several databases to manage, analyze and report on numerous projects in the section. Coordinated with the BBB to develop a standardized extract method from their database system. Developed a database system that imported data from the National White Collar Crime Center used by the Consumer Protection Investigative team to manage Cyber Fraud complaints. A financial fraud database and reporting mechanism that evaluated several years’ worth of fraud events, impacting investigation direction. An investigative database that became a standardized investigative tool for all investigations opened by the Consumer Protection Investigative team. Implemented metrics and reporting functionality in many existing databases. Coordinated with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) database team to expedite complaints entry in the Consumer Sentinel. Served as an on-site hardware and software technician for the Consumer Protection Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s office. Created highly detailed end user, as well as technical, documentation for all projects and databases implemented in the section. Managed a Cyber Fraud Investigation team to research potential fraud events and fraud suspects in determining the location and impact on consumers in Ohio. Show less
