      Douglas Lyons, B. A., C.A.D.C. II Principal Doug is a graduate of George Fox University, he holds a degree in Management and Organizational Leadership. Doug is a Certified Alcohol and Drug counselor. He served 16 years at Hazelden Springbrook, the last 7 as the Director of Clinical Services. Doug chaired Hazelden Springbrook’s Clinical Leadership Team and Co-Chaired Hazelden’s National Chemical Dependency Team. Doug served as the Chemical Dependency Evaluation Coordinator at Hazelden Springbrook, he conducted or supervised over 2,400 Chemical Dependency evaluations consisting primarily of physicians, high profile public figures, and professionals, including attorneys, airline pilots and CPA’s. Doug has conducted education and interventions for over 18 years. After leaving Hazelden in 2007 he served for over 2 years as a Family Wealth Advisor with MCS Financial Advisors, assisting client families with the complexities of addiction and other dysfunctions. Doug holds a Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute and has presented on the subject of addiction in the family business to multiple national and international audiences including The Family Firm Institute’s International Conference in Chicago, The Hazelden Foundation's Lecture Series in Minnesota and in 2012 Doug was invited by The Family Firm Institute to speak again in Brussels, Belgium. Doug presented for C4 Recovery Solutions at the Axis Executive Summit in 2015 in Naples, Florida and was a facilitator again in 2016. From 2005 to 2007 Doug served as the Vice President and Executive Board member of the Oregon Prevention, Education, and Recovery Association, a consortium of all chemical dependency treatment providers in the state of Oregon. Doug currently sits on the Executive Board of Lines for Life, a nationally recognized non-profit whose mission is to end substance abuse and prevent suicide.
