We contracted Doug for a seven day shoot in Rio for both a commercial and short documentary and found his approach, knowledge and professionalism second to none. Not being in a position to recce left us completely in Doug's hands and he did not disappoint. Every location and detail we requested was provided, often with several options. Clearances were obtained on our behalf and even when we requested extra locations during the shoot he was able to turn them around in no time. His knowledge of local restaurants and hot spots was greatly appreciated at the end of long shoot days. Utilising Doug took a lot of pressure off and allowed us to focus on shooting our project and not the logistics. His deep knowledge of the city, it's people and the language were of huge benefit to us. Doug's attitude and demeanour were both professional and welcoming. He is resourceful, inventive and has a great grasp of the production process and what a crew might need.
