Managing on-premise infrastructure, delivering software to clients, hosting in the cloud or in datacenters, I am a technology thought leader, bringing innovative solutions to Marquis and our clients. Working with my teams to create cohesive project plans, driven by business needs and stakeholder vision, I've delivered on at least one product, re-architectural efforts and elimination of technical debt every year. Took Marquis from a family owned business to an enterprise. Building the software team from the ground up, putting the right leadership in place, building process and procedure, re-platforming legacy software, and even writing some of the code. Once promoted to CTO, I did the same thing for the infrastructure team. Starting from nearly scratch and hiring an outstanding team and then evolving the infrastructure into the enterprise grade maturity it is today, with fewer expenses.

I’m directly responsible for Architecture and Management of 4 software products and resources. As the company continues to grow, it became necessary to restructure the existing teams into a more cohesive unit. Upon my suggestion, the CTO and I worked out a new structure with additional leadership and oversight. I was promoted to oversee the various teams, moving in place two managers beneath. The teams have hit some amazing velocities with this new configuration. I took on a more active role in management of the project backlog to take a product plan that had fallen completely off the rails, and getting it in order and on track, accountable and traceable.

As a development manager, I hired and managed a team of top talent, making a practice of hitting deadlines and delivering more than promised. As a project manager I governed all projects associated with the re-platforming of Marquis software solutions; upgrading and virtualizing our local data center, migrating backup datacenter across country and building up Infrastructure for new projects, including co-locations, on-premise datacenters and cloud solutions in Azure. As a senior level Engineer, I slung code, initially alone, without a team, due to hiring freezes of one type or another. Our initial release was completed in about a year, 75% of which was developed by myself. CI/CD, DevOps

I'm working to transform Information Technology practices from a small business to an Enterprise level industry force. In the short time I've been in this role, I've reduce production infrastructure costs by 37% and have begun implementation of corporate software and services that will save the organization almost 50% on like services. At ResMan, I wear many hats, acting as the de facto Security Office, Lead Network Operations, Director of Information Technology and Support and Administration. I provide expertise in Development Practices, Architecture and Tooling as well as leveraging my experience to assist in the Development and Debugging process. In addition, I am leading the Development Operations team in an effort to reduce costs and improve performance in our cloud infrastructure and providing oversight over the quality assurance team and process.

I've made a practice of hitting key target dates by measuring capacity and thoroughly measuring levels of effort for implementation and utilizing both metrics to build a plan as the team moves through the Product Backlog. I've implemented automated continuous integration and continuous delivery builds and created a disparate process for Release Management, utilizing Visual Studio Team Services.
