I had the pleasure of working with Doug while we were both at Lewan/Xerox. At the time, Doug was relatively new to the sales arena BUT was successful early on in his career due to the fact that he is the definition of engaged, relentless and intelligent. In B2B sales, Doug knew that in order to stay relevant to his customers and prospects he had to figure out ways to get in front of them, no matter what it took. He focused on revenue, gross profit, customer service AND activity. His results always had him towards or at the top of the leaderboard in all areas. Doug went from being an industry novice to a well-versed industry expert in a matter of months and put the time and energy necessary to see immediate success. Know-how and hard work aside, Doug was a lot of fun to work with. He kept things light, was appreciated by all of his colleagues and teammates and made a very tough job fun for many, including me. He has since used that experience to become a reliable and successful member of the POS systems world and, I am sure, has endeared himself to many that are lucky enough to work with him. I'd hire or work with Doug again in an instant.
