Dorothy Baird

  My second poetry collection 'Mind the Gap'​ was published in November 2015 by Indigo Dreams Publishing. 'Leaving the Nest'​, my first collection, was published by Two Ravens Press. I've been leading creative writing workshops in the community and in mental health settings for over 25years. In 2009, I founded Young Edinburgh Writers YEW, a creative writing group for teenagers in the city and led the group for five years before handing it over to another tutor. I've also led workshops all over Scotland from Aberdeen to Uist, including Glasgow, Inverness, Kingussie and Aberfeldy. These have been funded by the Scottish Book Trust Live Literature Scheme.
