The position includes analysis on the finance function of the team, budgeting and planning, external and donor communications, stewardship and gift management. The position also contributes to the Center's long range strategic planning to fulfill the goals and mission of the Center. As the Stewardship Officer, my role provides financial oversight and support for all aspects of FCREUE’s philanthropic gift program -- Policy Advisory Board (PAB) and serves as the primary liaison for the gift program. This includes the spectrum of services involved in donor solicitation, documentation, processing, new fund creation, donor communications and acknowledgment, as well as activity reports and analysis. Our Board are a group of approximately 230 real estate and finance industry leaders, many of whom are University major gift donors or UCB alumni. Board members contribute to FCREUE over $2.5 million in annual gifts which fund the Fisher Center’s research efforts, teaching support and general operations. My role facilitates the consistent flow of gift revenue through active donor stewardship and contact in a high touch environment. In addition, my position has incorporated the stewardship and administration of FCREUE’s affiliated 501c3 the Berkeley Real Estate Forum (BREF) by acting as its Secretary.
