Over the past five years, I've had the pleasure of working with Doreen on both print and digital content development. Doreen is an exemplar employee. She is efficient, organized, and strategic in her approach to delivering solutions to customers. Doreen played a key role in our digital-first transformation. Her experience with developing wireframes, storyboarding, prototyping, user testing, analyzing and defining requirements, managing JIRA stories, metadata, and collaborating and communicating across functional teams make her an asset to any organization. When challenged with tight deadlines and multiple priorities, Doreen has an ability to determine unnecessary tasks and focus only on the essential. For example, recently she suggested a change in our workflow process that added several weeks to the timeline while still allowing for quality assurance. She is excellent at prioritizing tasks, and she consistently meets her deadlines. Doreen is often a step ahead thinking through any potential blockers or challenges, and she is always willing to offer solutions or ideas for improvements. She is a rare gem, and in my 16 years of working in content development, I have yet to meet a more dedicated employee than Doreen.

When you work with Doreen, you get quality and attention to detail. I have had the pleasure of working with Doreen for a couple years at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where we collaborated on several projects related to our core reading curriculum. Her deep subject matter expertise combined with her leadership abilities made an impression on me - not only did she complete excellent work within tight deadlines, she also provided training to others on the team and guidance on how to scale up our work. She also is an all-around great person and has a knack for resolving conflicts quickly and peacefully. Doreen would be an asset for any team.
