My three years as a TPI (Transitional Program Instructor) was full of building growth in second language acquisition on top of learning content area context. Part of my day included co-teaching and collaborating with homeroom educators to best support the needs of our 25 - 28 shared learners. My small group setting was formatted to be a more comfortable, confident space for second language learners to feel competent and confident in presenting and discussing the daily designed lessons.
