  8-week final year placement in a school-based setting with Down South Therapy. Ran individual and small group activities with primary aged children with a variety of focuses including fine motor skills, handwriting, attention and concentration, and conversation skills. Children receiving services included those with diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, GDD and other students as recommended by teachers and school staff. Additionally, in collaboration with other students, I conducted kindy screens on the cohort of kindy students at the school.

  3-week placement with Mandurah Community Health Centre, under direction of Rockingham General Hospital. This placement was with the hand therapy team based out of Mandurah Community Health Centre providing hand and upper limb outpatient rehabilitation. The case load consisted primarily of clients with volar plate injuries, trigger finger, carpal tunnel, deQuervains tenosynovitis and fractures. Duties included initial interviews, ROM assessment and interventions, orthoses fabrication and adjustment, grip strength assessments, massage and documentation (SOAP format).
