  I volunteered at my local community museum, the site of 400 years of history, for many years. During that time, I helped manage a $500,000. extension to the museum. I served the Board of Directors as Secretary, Fund Raising Chair, Events Manager, Vice President, President and Past President. The Lunenburg County Historical Society honoured me in 2015 by inscribing my name on a monument reserved for those who have made significant contributions to the Society and the Fort Point Museum, in LaHave.
