This was carried out by answering case and contact questions, providing information regarding testing locations, vaccination sites, referrals to internal Care Resource Coordinators, and fulfilling other needs, and recording accurate information regarding symptom onset, risk/exposure sources, vaccination data, and more into the CRM, all while protecting privacy and confidential health information. In addition to working with cases and contacts, duties of the Case Investigator/Unit Lead included: supervising and mentoring a sub-unit of 4-8 Contact Tracers within the team, case/record review for those contact tracers, workflow monitoring for the team, interpreting protocols and answering questions for the team, supporting the team supervisor, leading weekly meetings to offer support to the team and discuss protocols, and attending ongoing training concerning changing guidelines from the Massachusetts Department of Health and protocols for workflow, isolation and quarantining guidance, health support and more. Customer service consisted of handling patron records, patron inquiries on items checked-out, checked-in, renewals, fines, museum pass reservations, study room reservations and items on request.
