  Welcome Home Warrior was established to serve veterans and families, focusing on war veterans especially. We are focusing on doing free family retreats for active duty and veterans out of the service.   I worked a year in psychiatric inpatient units and then went to Colorado Springs to start the 1st VA Outpatient Mental Health Clinic there. I specialized in working with PTSD, later traveling in a team that took treatment for PTSD to the San Luis Valley. I started the first VA mental health clinic in Alamosa.
