  1. Provide leadership in the development and revision of MSSD curriculum. 2. Provide training and monitor implementation of instructional strategies. 3. Develop and monitor systematic approach to insure that staff are knowledgeable of available assistive technology for students and have clear procedures to access this technology. 4. Develop and conduct annual needs assessment to identify instructional staff development needs. 5. Insure the provision of appropriate instructional staff development activities, to include Positive Behavior Support, to meet the identified instructional needs of staff. 6. Gather and analyze student achievement data and use data to plan instructional staff development activities. 7. Insure staff are appropriately trained and provided needed guidance to implement MAP-A/DLM. 8. Coordinate development and revision of CSIP. 9. Provide leadership in MSIP preparation activities Provide direct supervision of Instructional Specialists and delivery of instructional practices to classroom teachers.
