I handle all incoming calls, lobby visits and Officer requests for information. My department is responsible for checking Officers reports and sending paperwork and arrest information to the prosecutors, adult and juvenile probation, cps and any other agencies requesting reports. We run paperwork for arrest information, driving records, vehicles ect. We enter missing persons, stolen property, ect. We enter tickets keep track of and canofile reports. We process gun permits, vehicle inspections, accident reports and all other reports available to the public. We also monitor radio traffic and assist dispatch when needed by calling out extra units and making requested phone calls among any other request for our assistance. Show less

As a dispatcher/911 operator my job was to answer all incoming calls including 911 and business calls. I was responsible for dispatching the proper emergency personnel to calls, including but not limited to police, fire and ems. All radio traffic came through dispatch and multi-tasking was a required skill to properly do the job. I handled computer data including running drivers license information, registration, wanted queries, entering missing persons, stolen vehicles, guns, property and anything else needing to be entered. I had to be certified in EMD, CPR AND IDACS/NCIC. Show less
