In this role, I led a team of 13 direct reports and marketing university-wide for 583 total staff. I spearheaded a market intelligence system with an approach to segmentation, targeting, and positioning unique to university marketing and developed a content marketing organization structure to support plan implementation. ➖➖ SAMPLE OF ACHIEVEMENTS ➖➖ • Developed and executed the first integrated strategic marketing vision activating the long-term strategic growth plan around one brand-building framework across all media platforms. Metrics within my authority increased by double digits. • Was a pivotal contributor in becoming the first 5% of universities nationwide to adopt a digital marketing approach, strengthening university positioning. • The average annual application stats grew from 18% to 43%, after the UE Guarantee brand launch, also increasing visit growth by 38%. • Conceptualized a successful marketing plan and execution, aiding the Development office, and contributing to two successful fundraising campaigns totaling $8 million. • Initiated the first marketing function in the 154-year history of the school as the first VP of Marketing. • Raised $500K and secured land within one summer to launch a program supporting university recruitment.
