  Quality Engineer (New projects Introduction)  Introduction of new projects and engineering changes to current production using Core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA) to comply the AIAG requirements.  Manage and follow up activities of the project team to make sure the completion of their activities on time.  Perform capability studies to evaluate the data and establish control limits (PP, PPK, CP, CPK, Normality).  Communication with customers (Ford, GM, Chrysler) personally and through their portals (Covisint)  Validate supplier samples and documentation to assure the supplier quality  Coordinate customer complain analysis to find the root cause in order to implement corrective actions as well as coordinate sorting and containment actions  Create new documentation necessary to assure the quality in the production line (PF, PFMEA,PCP, Visual aids, Alerts, specification sheets) also review other departments documentation to make sure that it is correct to be released to production line.  Validation of the equipment (MSA studies)  Follow up the Product Validation performed at the test laboratory to make sure that the product complies with the customer and the company requirements  Prepare all the PPAP documentation to be presented to the customer in order to obtain the PPAP approval Metrology lab Supervisor and Quality Engineer (Molding)  Coordinate all activities related to the metrology lab (Dimensional, capability and MSA studies) as well as different studies and tests for color, force, moisture, destructive tests, material tests, CMM programming.  Maintain the calibration of the equipment performing internal calibrations and contact external laboratories accredited to calibrate the equipment used in the company  Maintain in acceptable conditions the equipment Coordinate and train metrology lab and quality personnel.
