I worked with Don Bedell at WAIS/WSEO during 1994-1995. Although I had public radio experience before working in Nelsonville, it was Don who 'showed me the ropes' of the commercial radio business. This included commercial production, on-air style, how to do remote broadcasts and how to maintain good relationships with with clients. Nearly 20 years later, I'm still in the 'radio biz' thanks to Don's initial mentorship and trust. He was a great boss and I'd jump at the chance to work with him again.
