COPA ("Child Outcome, Planning & Administration") is a 100% web-based, highly customizable, scalable and powerful Head Start and Early Head Start software by leading application service provider, Nulinx International Inc. COPA contains a powerful, unique and fully customizable assessment platform that can automate multiple numbers of assessment tools for children and families. Working on a specialized system offering real-time data collection and monitoring related to a child education programs, I enjoy creating efficiencies in order to for these important programs to offer better services to the community. COPA is being used by thousands of Head Start programs and Community Services organizations across the nation. I created a style guide, set up a documentation system, and implemented standards for COPA. I was a 1st level support, the remedy focal point for a team of 50, and created reports for senior management, asset management, and other teams. The information I compiled all resulted in significant savings for the company in space, money, and manpower. I provided information on which machines could be migrated to a virtual environment, resulting in saving in space, lease payments, energy and support. I built the interface between asset management and the server inventory db, which provided the ability for more accurate and up-to-date billing of clients. Later, I devised the Web front end for the governance database using Dreamweaver and Perl to replace the Java-based front end.
