In my role as the Senior Director of Field Operations / Services, I led the Sales Engineering Team in North America Region for all aspects of pre and post-sales support. In my role as Program Manager, I worked directly for the Chief Technology Officer / Vice President on business and proposal development. I was the representative for all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Tools and Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) Task Orders. I managed the recruiting, hiring, training and performance reviews for the company’s Department of State contract. Department of State Cyber Threat Analysis Division Manager

Here, I was the on-site Program Manager for the Office of Computer Security’s Cyber Threat Analysis Division (CTAD). In this role, I managed 40 technical and intelligence analysts that analyzed and reported on cyber security issues with an annual budget of $9M. I managed the analysis of technical data to identify trends, targeting, and timing of suspicious / malicious activity. My responsibilities included overseeing the technical analysis of malicious code, network traffic, forensics of hard drives, removable media and mobile devices and the development of custom signatures for network monitoring and intrusion detection systems. I worked directly for the CTAD Division Chief setting priorities and ensuring goals were accomplished. I tracked, maintained and reported metrics; prepared and presented monthly and quarterly Program Performance Reviews. I managed division growth from 14 to 40 personnel in < 4 years.These are just some of my accomplishments:• Led establishment of Insider Threat Program providing much needed and desired capability and support to counter intelligence and law enforcement investigations.• Led establishment of Indications and Warning Program that provided means to track historical targeting / attack patterns resulting in proactive network defense effectively thwarting attacks. I was the Prime 2.2 Security Operations Manager and I managed a budget of $2.8M and 6 teams of 18 security engineers. My team was responsible for 120 globally deployed Firewalls and Content Filters; McAfee ePO Anti-virus and Anti-Spyware; software distribution, patch management and vulnerability remediation for > 11K systems worldwide. In this role I served as the liaison to other DoS elements, external computer security and law enforcement entities. I provided technical support for criminal investigations; analyzed and reported on incidents; identified common attack methods, analyzed trends and threat data; presented data analysis results to daily Cyber Security Briefing and provided detailed reporting to management.

Department of State Special Projects Senior Security Engineer

• 2001 - 2004

Here, I led 2 Vulnerability Assessments, supervising 11 personnel during two 10-day deployments to overseas post and 1 domestic office. I presented briefings consisting of detailed action plans, methods of execution, strengths, vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques. I performed forensic analysis using Encase and other COTS/GOTS tools. I also conducted all-source intelligence research and threat analysis to aid in planning of projects and keeping abreast of threats.

Here, I managed 9 military personnel in Computer Network Exploitation and Defense and supervised Navy-wide Network Vulnerability Assessment. I led 9 ships and shore based Computer Network Vulnerability Assessments.
