I had the great pleasure of working with Don for numerous years at the US Department of State. He was a key member of my leadership team within the Cyber Threat Analysis Division serving as program manager. He was critical in developing and growing core operational capabilities in people, process, and technology within a large global organization. He was instrumental in transforming the Division from a small niche intelligence unit to a large multifaceted organization which conducted cyber threat analysis, in-depth technical network forensics, and establishing a successful insider threat investigative and support team. As program manager Don ensured the Division had the right people to accomplish a diverse and complex mission. He truly drove a culture of

Don provides subject matter expertise in security as well as extremely strong, detailed and well organized project management skills. It is difficult to find someone with experience as a security practitioner and project manager the likes of Don. When tasked, he quickly becomes a critical resource for companies not just because he is such a great project manager, but because his expertise and experience are very hard to come by. He becomes a resource for any company across divisions for those seeking out advice, direction and knowledge company wide. Don is highly skilled at keeping projects on track. Without someone like him as a project manager keeping people and projects focussed - nothing other then wheel spin often happens. For those reasons among a good deal of others I am always more then happy to recommend Don for a good number of roles in security and IT.
