  I manage every aspect of technology for River Rock Academy (education environment). I manage nine programs at eight locations. We have 170 staff members and 600 students. I took a struggling IT department and transformed it into a modern, cloud based environment. I implemented Microsoft Office 365 with Barracuda Essentials; the results were limited amount of down time for users, as well as E-mail security and E-mail archiving. I also implemented Barracuda Backup for disaster recovery. I perform all server support and manage active directory. I use an outside vendor for Cisco routing and domain configuration. I implemented managed wireless with the Ubiquity controller and access points. For the staff and students of River Rock, I implemented the Google Suite (G Suite) for file sharing and storage. This includes Google classroom for virtual education in the time of pandemic. This allowed River Rock to move to 1:1 computing. I manage one employee who supports the end user database and other support tasks. I do 95% of end user computer support including Chrome Book support. All of these technology upgrades and enhancements occurred while maintaining a cost saving approach with an annual budget of $80,000. Show less
