I'm a commercial broker in CT. When looking for a part time residence in Florida, I contacted Don to be my agent. I needed someone who knew real estate and had good local knowledge. Buying in Florida can be a little tricky, from Chinese drywall to local rules and regulations. So I knew I needed someone who was not going to keep his eye on just making a sale, but was going to look out for my interest. We looked on and off for 2 years. When a property came up that I knew I wanted I bought it sight unseen. Well, not quite. I had Don take a lot of photos and do some research on the property. Between Google Maps and Don I had a pretty good picture of the property I bought. From the contract negotiations to the closing Don did a great job. And we continue to be good friends. From fishing, to boating, to him sharing his family recipes, he has added to the pleasure of visiting our second home.
