  ACI EUROPE is a trade association which represents the European airport industry in EU policy discussions in Brussels. As Economics Manager, I was responsible for ACI EUROPE’s activities relating to issues such as airport competition & regulation, State aid policy and ground handling. I also delivered wider economic analysis of the aviation industry, covering issues such as performance management, financial performance, air connectivity and the industry’s economic impact. I am responsible for managing ACI EUROPE’s Economic Research Analyst, and for coordinating the work of the Economics Committee – a group of financial, strategy & regulatory professionals from airports across Europe.Key responsibilities include:o Delivering fresh insight & new perspectives to specific policy discussions;o Consulting with airport members, leading discussions and facilitating consensus on specific issues;o Supporting positions with quality reports & papers, based on strong analysis of collected data, and clear & accessible written communication;o Managing the work of the Economic Research Analyst and external consultants to deliver analytical projects;o Directly representing the airport industry with a range of stakeholders within the European institutions and aviation sector at bilateral & roundtable meetings, as well as via presentations.
