• Co-manage the DMA Army Production, Army News/Assignment Desk • Plan and coordinate Army coverage of Army news events for the Army and/or for DOD News, formally The Pentagon Channel, (TPC), for broadcast or for publication on Soldiers Live, ARNews, and the Army's Homepage website• Initiate, plan, and coordinate the cross-communication of active Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard media coverage of Army news events that support Office of Chief of Public Affairs, (OCPA) • Develop Army news and feature story ideas to produce multimedia products that support OCPA's strategic communications plans• Provide guidance to Army PAO’s in planning and evaluating DMA-Army communication and marketing strategies to produce Army multimedia products of Army news, feature events• Brief DMA Production Chiefs on the Army's news event coverage plans and multimedia product expectations• Manage the DMA-Army Daily Production Calendar in which Army news event coverage and multimedia product expectations are tracked and documented• Ensure that DMA, DMA-Army, and OCPA leadership is aware of what Army news events are covered and what multimedia products to expect for DMA-Army broadcast/publication of those news events • Track and ensure the timely receipt of expected Army multimedia products for publication and/or broadcast
