Don's curiosity, creativity and professionalism have shone through on the two projects on which we've collaborated. His work for the Maine Science OER research team resulted in a strong collection of "Open Educational Resources" available to all Maine teachers and it led to new strategies used in his science methods course at the University of Maine at Machias. Similarly, our work together on a Project Learning Tree curriculum focused on the UMaine Forest Bioproducts Research Initiative provided resources for Maine's educators and resulted in some great learning on the part of those of us working together on this team.
