As a Director of Operations I was responsible for directing and coordinating all facets of operations, administration, financial activities, and logistics with full profit center responsibility in varied locations with annual sales up to $170 million annually. While VP of Operations directed building services for 92 facilities encompassing 21 million square feet. I developed specifications, solicited bids, selected vendors and negotiated contracts for services in these facilities. While overseeing maintenance, construction, renovation and space utilization projects, planned and managed a $13.4 million facility reorganization project effecting an annual expense savings of $3 million. Directed and coordinated operations, administration and financial activities in Region with $250 million in annual sales, with responsibilities that included sales and manpower planning, capital expenditure budgets, customer service, productivity, organization and staffing.
