Human Launch Services Integrated Test Environment Project Lead
-
Aug 2015 - Jul 2016
I served as the project lead for a new integrated flight software test bed to support the Commercial Crew Program for the Boeing CST-100 Starliner and Atlas V integration. The test bed is a real time, hardware in the loop test bed used to validate flight software and Emergency Detection System software. I am leading a dedicated team of embedded systems engineers, software engineers and electrical engineers developing and integrating the system. I also led a second team of engineers working on another integrated test bed to support the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in support of the EM-1 flight. I was responsible for personnel task assignments and technical and schedule performance for the two Human Launch Services Integrated Test Environment (ITE) systems.

Control Dynamics Engineer
-
Dec 2006 - Dec 2014
Performed control dynamics mission integration analyses on several Atlas V and Delta IV Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) flight missions. Work experience includes model based control system design and verification in the time and frequency domains, tool and model development, digital signal processing, digital filter design, configuration control of analysis tools and data input files. Conducted spacecraft/launch vehicle separation analyses and completed post flight assessments and anomaly resolution for several flights. Extensive experience with Matlab, Simulink, and Microsoft Office products. Mentoring of new hires and interns on Mission Integration tools and practices. Executed project management of large tool development projects to consolidate heritage analysis tools to reduce hand-manipulation of data and abide by Test-Like-You-Fly principles.I was the lead control dynamics engineer for the highly successful Orion Exploration Flight Test (EFT)-1 mission which flew on December 5th, 2014 aboard a Delta IV Heavy vehicle.
