  As an ITS Coordinator for AAATA I enjoy a broad scope of daily work. The position includes the best of two worlds as a hybrid between Information Technology and Electronics. I am able to exercise my skills diving into server software installation, identifying and diagnosing complex issues with software processes and wrenching through fare collection and route management devices that service our passengers' needs and get them where they need to go, on time. When I am not performing the fore mentioned, I am coordinating our various internal teams with vendors to ensure portions of projects are on track and contributing to the success of our timelines. I am always exploring emerging technology, products and services that may enhance our passengers' experience while in transport with The Ride. When we do happen to introduce a new product or service that falls under my department I create comprehensive SOPs and support our users as a subject matter expert. As the ITS Coordinator I also plan and track the regular preventive maintenance scheduling of the on-board CAD/AVL, CCTV, VoIP, Communications, Farebox and Destination Sign systems with the Electronics Team to ensure all of our services are in good working order.
