  When selling real estate, periodically you end up with clients with poor credit and low incomes looking for housing. And inevitably those two factors result in clients contemplating the purchase of dilapidated or neglected real estate that may end up devastating them on a financial and psychological level. Thus, my solution is to purchase those properties, bring them up to livable standards, and then sell them to families in need of a healthy home that will inevitably help them emotionally & financially. Not adding another negative on top of the ones that exist but bringing a 'real' and lasting economic change. I grew up the child of a single, uneducated father, living in substandard housing, and everything that negatively affected my dad, really affected my brother and me. I have a huge heart for children and I'm very aware of how living standards affect their mental & physical health. In general, I run into about 3 such clients a year, and so my desire is to have 3 healthy properties prepared and waiting on them.
