After having the pleasure working with Mr. Pontious on several occassions, I had the chance to see his abilities in action. Don has an uncanny ability to not only organize events and the logistics involved with coordinating them, but the knowledge on how to better structure prominent features that the public shows the most interest in. Well studied and fortified for every action, Don does his homework and it shows. If this weren't enough, Don is very attentive and timely. All projects that he has been involved with were done with extreme detail and ahead of schedule. Don would make a great addition to any team he would be assigned too.

Primarily responsible for bulk commodity and small commodity purchasing for food manufacturing. Negotiated pricing, contracts, and inbound logistics. Maintained constant contact with overseas suppliers to monitor inbound shipments of raw goods. Was on-call and available to handle any issue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on “off days” or “vacation days”. Another major responsibility of the position required purchasing of all small, or operationally necessary equipment and parts. Responsibilities included purchasing, planning, and delivery of all materials, tools, and equipment needed for all projects and ongoing manufacturing processes. This role required management of all inventory control, inventory counting, cost accounting, and inventory replenishment. Under the auspices of that role, a solid and manageable inventory control system was created and implemented within 90 days of start of employment.
