Key Responsibilities and Learnings: After two months in the Fund-of-Funds/Multi-Manger Team, I joined the Smaller Companies Team in April 2015. On the investment side my key responsibilities comprise investment idea generation, analytics of prospective and existing investee companies (fundamentals, financials, valuation, markets, industry, competitive landscape, investment case) this includes management meetings, analyst meetings and site visits and daily support of the fund/portfolio managers. On the business side responsibilities comprise the development of monthly management information (performance, investor analytics, portfolio insights) around all products, improvement of the system environment and industry focused projects. During the time I am able to strengthen my understanding of financial markets, equity analytics, investment strategies (value & growth), fund and portfolio management and the management of specialist mandates focused on limited investment universes.
