I worked with Dominique for about 10 years ad kept being amazing how he was able to come up all the time with brand new ideas and creative approaches and solutions for problem solving. He has an in dept knowledge in polymer science in all aspects and in specific on engineering plastics, blends/compounds and additives and is able to quickly learn and adapt to new working environments. His challenging attitude and open mind has also a very positive effect on his collegues making them also more creative and taking initiative. The basic ambition is to strengthen the economic position of the materials producing and materials processing industry in Flanders on the medium to long term. Besides management of the programs, I do some kind of broad and 'generic' NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for Flemish companies that are active in materials. I'm working on a roadmap for composites that brings together the unique strengths present in Flanders : polymers, textile and machines.
