  My goal is to connect youth in foster care with a forever family. I utilize media, news printings and partnered sources to prepare and introduce youth to adoption. My focus is child specific recruitment and with the use of data analysis I track the success of adoption for children in Delaware. I am responsible for managing a case load of 15 children in addition to providing statewide adoption service for the state of Delaware. I write case notes logging visits in occurrences that take place with each child. I participate in clinical team meetings and am responsible for advocating and helping to assess how the team can meet the needs of the child. I handle referrals and in a timely manner register children for the National Adoption database as well as sites provided through National Adoption Center. I also am responsible for handling inbound phone calls of families interested in adopting children and I help coordinate adoption match events and assist in fundraising events.

  My goal is to connect families with needed and available community resources with the inclusion of outreach to neighborhood schools. I oversee the evaluation and satisfaction of a family needs and create a plan that is best suited for the child’s needs. When applicable I provide a protected visitation and therapeutic intervention between children and the non-custodial parent to reestablish relationships that are healthy and safe for the child. I inform custody evaluators and treatment professionals with supplemental information for visitation and treatment planning.

  I work at a full day parenting program to implement Parent and Child Interaction Therapeutic practices. Through therapy I create a multidisciplinary service environment that increases the awareness of families’ needs, strengths, and limitations, by teaching how child development impacts child behavior and teaching parents how to replace harmful behaviors with nurturing ones. I construct therapeutic activities and group discussions that are used to model to parent’s different ways to encourage their child's cognitive, physical, language and social development. Additionally, I manage a caseload of 5-10 families and monthly I complete reports specifying their progress in the program and if they have achieved their parenting goals

  I managed a facility capacitated to hold 79 children. I was responsible for the supervision of 9 staff which included managing the staff to ensure implementation of the company philosophy and DPW regulation. I interacted with the business manager to implement different business plans to increase enrollment and globalization of the program. I assisted in marketing and advertisement of the program to help the center reach its monthly enrollment goal. I also managed the company’s student tuition account by keeping track through Microsoft Database and Spreadsheet document.
