  Revolver is one of the U.K.’s oldest independent record labels. We operate in a small team therefore it is common for members of staff to be involved in many aspects of running the company. During this tenure at Revolver, I have ran or coordinated on projects involving;- Negotiating recording or licensing agreements with prospective artists both online and in face-to-face meetings.- Listening and evaluating submissions that come to the company and filtering artists that we believe fit our company vision and have potential for growth.- Collating data from distributors to understand sale and streaming trends of our catalogue. This is then analysed to understand demand for products.- Uploading formatted metadata to distribution platforms, using FTP servers to send audio files for new and catalogue releases.- Registering phonographic data with PPL and songwriter rights with PRS/MCPS.- Working with trade bodies, such as the BPI and IFPI, to protect company copyright from infringement.- Setting up aggregation deals for DSP’s with distributors.- Creating advertising content, to different specifications, for varioussocial media platforms. The content is used to promote new releases. Using market information, we create targeted ads so the content gets shown to audiences who are more likely to digest the content.- Maintaining the companies phonographic catalogue which includes; updating of track-listing, takedowns of releases no longer under contract and territory specific edits to imagery.
