Dominic is probably one of the most likeable and genuine people I know. He has a strong moral compass and it shows in how he conducts his business and longstanding business relationships. Dominic is passionate about his industry, unbelievably dedicated to his craft. I am grateful for meeting him and having had the opportunity to work with him, I can now call him a friend.

I have worked with Dominic in many capacities and I would recommend him instantly for any corporate travel or event related consultancy jobs and assignments. He has a tremendous knowledge, is very committed and driven and is always looking for best in class solutions. He can work cross cultural and cross functional, and understands the dynamics at work. In addition he has great people skills and is a genuine team player who can also motivate and guide his co-workers and colleagues. I genuinely love working with Dominic and would vouch for him any time!

Working with Dominic is an absolute pleasure. His willingness to listen, engage and provide insights makes him an incredible leader who is always trying to add value as much as he can. It is clear as to why Dominic has been able to successfully deliver on over 1000+ global projects and why large multinationals want to work with him. His knowledge, understanding and skillset when it comes to developing bespoke business travel/event/meeting management ecosystems is incredible. Helping companies improve operations and their bottom line in this regard is what Dominic excels at, not to mention the emphasis he places on the environment in doing so as well. I look forward to seeing more of the exciting work Dominic has planned for the future.

After 30 years in business travel management, meetings and events and marketing I have started my own company. In the past I have supported many companies with their business travel, meeting and events and marketing and communications needs. Now I am offering this from my own company. For SMEs, NGOs and globally operating corporates I deliver end to end consulting in business travel management, meetings and events and marketing. My projects focus on delivering analysis of processes and optimisation of these. I implement global travel management solutions, payment solutions, and technology to support the digital transformation of my clients. I also support their change management with bespoke communications packages. Regularly I organise meetings, event and conferences for corporates and associations. I am a keynote speaker a moderator and a master class teacher.

As a Senior Project Manager at Business Travel Purchase I helped companies and organisations to deliver global projects in business travel management and change management. Working for the United Nations was an absolute highlight. With my business partner we delivered a change management concept that included communications to all staff globally in emails, slide decks and animated films. Other projects included business travel management audits, technology evaluations and Travel Management Company RFPs.

As Global Category Manager Travel I was in charge of developing the category strategy and executing it. I transferred Takeda from working with 65 travel agencies in 2015 to working with two global partners in 2017. By doing this, I made Takeda’s global travel spend visible and could implement a savings programme that produced 20% improvement in a combination of cost avoidance and travel savings. All suppliers were selected by my team be it airlines, agencies, hotel chains or car rental companies. As an industry thought leader I was invited to speak at many events and tasked with developing innovative sourcing strategies across all subcategories.

As the Managing Director of MCI in Zurich, I was responsible for re-positioning the Zurich office and making it successful again. With my team of 20 full time employees and the same amount of freelance experts we delivered around 100 meetings, events and conferences. By moving up the pace and challenging all staff members on a weekly basis I transformed the office from lethargy to success. Overall, I was responsible for shaping company values and standards and ensuring that the vision of the company stands true in all respects.

At traXess I was responsible for successfully turning the company from a operational business travel and online booking tool management company to a strategic data consolidation boutique. In this position I developed travel data reporting tools for the world’s leading reinsurance company and a number of DAX30 powerhouses. Along with my team I entered into a strategic partnership with a leading bespoke software design company in Asia. With their know-how and speed to market we developed new real time reporting management information systems that were ahead of their time. After reshaping traXess I handed the company back over to the owners who went on to successfully sell it.

Managing two event locations in Zurich and building up their corporate client base was a totally new challenge after 12 years with Swissair. My previous role as manager of Swissair’s most important distribution partner Kuoni with its heavy weight clients helped me address corporate with no fear. Between 2001 and 2004 I successfully delivered more than 500 events.
