I have worked with Dominic during his time at RBWM. He is a highly skilled, very astute and flawlessly professional finance specialist. His strategic thinking mixed with sound knowledge of operational world of educational finance - at local government and independent sector alike - makes him an ideal finance leader. I wish him all the best for his future career and hope that our paths cross again!

Over the last few years I've been involved in a wide variety of Schools and Children's Services finance projects for a number of Local Authorities and a Multi Academy Trust. I'm currently working with East Sussex County Council, supporting their Children's Services Management Teams and it's budget process. Prior to that I was at CfBT Multi Academy Trust in Reading supporting them with a number of Academy projects. For most of 2013 I worked for the London Borough of Redbridge as Group Finance Manager for Children's Services. The role included the management of a team of 12 professional finance staff dealing with all aspects of Children’s Services (Education, Social Care and Schools). Gross Expenditure in excess of £350m. The role also included a full review of the authority’s Children’s Trust budget management procedures and overspends. During 2012 and the early part of 2013 I was fully committed to implementing the National Schools Funding reform and High Needs pupil funding changes required by the Department for Education for 3 Local Authorities. Over the last 5 years I've been involved with the following pieces of work • Full Schools Funding Formula Reviews • Writing consultation papers and Schools Forum Reports • Presenting to Headteachers, Governors and Bursars • Analysing changes to the Dedicated Schools Grant • Submission of EFA Schools Budget Proformas in January 2014 and 2013 • Analysing impact of High Needs Funding changes for Pre and Post 16 • Preparation of the 2014/15 Schools Budget • Preparation of the 2014/15 Section 251 statement
