I managed Dolyanna for nearly three years and in that time I saw her develop from a strong and capable leader to a truly great one. Dolyanna is strategic but can operate tactically and operationally exceptionally well. In the time I managed her she took on a number of demanding and highly strategic projects alongside her day job (demanding in itself) and delivered on time to budget on every occasion. Dolyanna stabilised and developed a fragmented Children's Services which had low morale and was a bit rudderless. Dolyanna made it a Service that was more confident and assured in its offer and put it in a position where it could compete on both price and quality with the very best. The leadership team Dolyanna put together by melding internal and external talent was of the highest calibre and frequently punched well above its weight in resourcing terms. A truly remarkable leader and professional. I rate Dolyanna amongst the best performers I have had work for me. A joy to manage and work with.

Dolyanna is a true inspirational leader. I had the pleasure of working with her for 6 years and over that time she transformed the Children’s services at Norwood. She has a clear vision for the service and has this incredible ability to win the hearts and minds of her team. She is a pragmatic, intelligent, compassionate and someone that has influenced my thinking and shaped me as a leader.
