Dolfinette is a Motivational Speaker, Reentry Advocate, Directly Impacted Activist, who works tirelessly for the civil and human rights of directly impacted women and girls. She often feels that their voices are left out of conversations of incarceration and thus decisions are made without their input. Women and girls journey to prison starts the day the trauma is inflicted and society needs to know that. No woman or girls has ever woke up and said I want to go to prison. As a woman who has spent 12 years in prison and released with no basic resources to ensure she at least had her dignity, she has dedicated her life to speaking about the ills that women and girls carry along their journey to and through incarceration.
