  I went through the Management Associate program at First American National Bank in Nashville, Tennessee after college for a year and then joined the Commercial Real Estate group for several years. After Commercial Real Estate, I joined the National Accounts Group at First American. When First American was under a letter agreement with the OCC, I went to work for First Union a few years in Special Assets then Large Corporate. I returned to First American where I worked in Leveraged Lending. I started First American's Corporate Finance Group adding products over the years including a Mezzanine Fund, Private Placements, Syndications and Derivatives. After the merger with AmSouth, I remained the Corporate Finance Group Manager and continued to grow the business. After the merger with Regions, I joined BB&T. Show less
